Lord Don't Slow Me Down is a rockumentary diected by Ballie Walsh, shot on the Don't Believe The Truth tour. The double disc set, released by Universal includes Oasis live at City of Manchester Stadium, shot by legendary music director Dick Carruthers.
Working closely with Dick who creatively directed the dvd, we developed the concept of shooting the menu backgrounds live action in an outside broadcast truck, with the screens showing the menu options. Each menu having a different camera angle.
My job was to then take the footage into After Effects and composite all the screens and menu navigation so it looked like it belonged to the live shoot.
